Bolton is influenced by Dorothy Heathcote who is a well-known leader of Drama in Education in the world. This paper analyzes Bolton's theory and method of drama in education. I clarify his purpose of drama activities through his writings. His drama is not an exercise or a game which is like drama of Peter Slade and Brian Way.
