| 内容記述 | Motherhood is one of the most universal and reassuring human institutions, and yet at the same time, motherhood and childbearing can be sometimes one of the hardest experiences for women. Although the pain and sufferings of motherhood tended to be underestimated or ignored in the past, now the feminist criticism is reassessing motherhood and childbearing. In this paper I would like to discuss Katherine Mansfield and her mother, focusing their ambivalent relationship which vacillates between love and hate. The purpose of this study is to prove that there is a tie between Mansfield and her mother, even though they seem to hate each other. | |||||
